Traffic Jam Media
As you can see it’s not all about going to bar’s and drinking to get inspired. We do occasionally do work for clients in other industries, just like Traffic Jam Media! Traffic Jam Media is a digital marketing company, and they wanted an updated logo to match their updated website and branding.
This time we couldn’t go and get inspired by alcohol, instead we used the brief given to us. The requirements was to design a logo which looked like an app, which showed the development and growth of the company in the technology industry. This time we did our research by seeing what other app logo’s and icons looked liked.
We got our idea, but the name of the company also suggests a pile up of cars stuck in traffic waiting to get to their destination, which symbolises they will try and get a similar type of traffic to your website – in a good way obviously where there are no queues just lots of visitors. We decided to use the traffic light signals and created three different squares designed like an app. Within in each app design, we created symbols which reflected the different ways they use to generate traffic online.
As a result, we created a very simple and clean logo which represented a trend that is being reflected in the technology world. At the same time we still managed to reflect the nature and included the name within the design.
